Conferences

Well I can officially say that my first round of conferences is done, and they went great!  It was so fun meeting some parents, and see some parents again from subbing and doing conferences last fall.

I am be in the minority but I love conferences, it gives me a chance to talk with the parents about their students.  I love being able to share the fun, silly things we do in class.  I also love sharing how their student is doing along with what we can do as a team to help them be successful.

I can't believe how fast conferences went by.  3 nights, tons of families, and great conversations.

Thank you to all the families that came to conferences, I really enjoyed meeting/seeing everyone!

First time having a sub

When I look at these I can't help but think I am a little crazy for how organized my stuff was for my sub.  I not only organized it by class but also by when during class things were going to be done.  I am sure the sub will like how organized it is but I laugh when I see it, just because I was so particular on how I wanted to leave things.

As I sit and type this I can't help but wonder what my students will be like tomorrow, especially since I am not there and the fact that conferences start tomorrow.

The more I think about it, I know my students will do a good job but I really don't want to be gone for a training tomorrow.
