Reflection

So for my new teacher awe class, I had to create a project reflecting on my first year of teaching.  I really enjoyed this assignment and I feel like I interpreted this assignment a little different than others in my class.

I took this assignment as an opportunity to reflect not only by myself but with my students as well.  I decided to do a google form asking the students 7 different questions to get some honest feedback.  I choose to have the feedback anonymous so that the students would be honest and give honest feedback.  It was neat to see what the students said so that I could do some more self reflecting on things that I could work on yet this year.

Here are the 7 questions I asked:

1. What is one thing that Ms. Edworthy does when teaching that you like?
2. What is one thing that you think Ms. Edworthy could do better?
3. Overall how would you rate your class on a scale  from 1 to 5; 1 being not good and 5 being the best.
4. Do you feel like Ms. Edworthy knows who you are beside the fact that you are a student in her class?
5. Name one thing that Ms. Edworthy has taught you about, it could be something related to math or something else.
6. What has been your favorite thing in Math so far this year?
7. What is one piece of advice you have for Ms. Edworthy to be a better teacher?
